Chocolate Banana Snack

Servings: 4

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 2 bananas, cut in half, then sliced in the middle

  • 2 tablespoon plain unsweetened peanut butter or almond butter

  • 1 cup dark chocolate melted in bain-marie or microwave (I use Lindt 70%)

  • 1/2 cup peeled and finely chopped almonds

 

Directions:

 

  1. Place a piece of baking paper on a large plate.

  2. Using a knife, spread peanut butter on the flat side of the banana (not the curved).

  3. Cover the banana with the chopped almonds.

  4. Thoroughly cover the banana with the melted dark chocolate from all sides.

  5. Place on the baking paper.

  6. Put in the fridge uncovered for 30 minutes to an hour, then serve immediately.

  7. They can stay in the fridge for three days uncovered.
